Question for '93 F-cars using PCMFORLESS...
Shawn- I hear only good things about Alvin. And secondly I saw that you were looking for a timing chain. ... well the LT4 chain requires a vented optispark which also requires a different cam dowel pin. However if you look in summit there is a Lunati chain for pre vented opti cars that is a pretty good deal from what I hear. Also try this board for more SD info. Speed density messageboard

I spoke with Lunati and Summit about that chain. Lunati rep didnt know if it was a roller chain or not (they must let the Janitors answer the tech line). Summit said it wasnt a roller. I tend to agree with Summit. Every description I read says "Linkbelt Chain" instead of roller.
Do you know of someone who's actually used that chain, and can vouch for it? While the stock chain does stretch over time, its a pretty durable piece. I'd hate to go aftermarket only to get a weaker chain that would stretch just as much or more.
