I'd say low to mid 14's. Possibly even break into the 13's with a good driver/tuneup.

 

Anywhere from 13.6 to 14.2 at 98-102 mph is typical. Your results will vary depending on car and track conditions.

I had my 95 z28 M6 stock except for 160 thermostat for 3 weeks and ran it lowest i got was 14.4 bad traction problems but still beat my friends mustang wich he swore would run mid 13s

 

A friend of mine has gone 13.4 with some kind of ????vortech muffler????. He said he has gone 13.2 but this is the one I SAW. Its an A4 95 Z

 

My 94 Z 28 completey sock ran a best of 13.89@102 but a honest and realistic answer for a stock LT1 Z28 is about 14.2-14.4 @98-101 mph.

 

Literally driving home from dropping my coworker coworker off after work, around 3AM, kinda straight road, South Carolina so obviously bumpy, from 0, 1800rpm let it rip, no warm up or burnout, and it was, again, South Carolina, so about 75 degrees outside.

Fully stock 94 z28, literally the only thing done to it was straight piping it, and replacing the water pump and distributor and spark plugs and wires (all of which were the cheapest options from O'Reilly's.).

 

13.80@99 stock down to the paper filter with a drag radial. I believe these cars have the potential to go 13.6x.

 

Old thread but what the hell.
I was at Byron Dragway (summer of '93) and a guy brought in a '93 A4 car right off the dealer lot. Stock as it gets, ran 14.10s all day long in 3000'+ DA air.
I see a lot of stockish (CAI/catback + DRs) LT1 F bodies at my local track that typically run ~13.80 deep staged in 2000' air. Normal staging with sea level air would probably equate to a 13.50.

 

I don’t think people give these cars credit for what they were back in the day. The A4 3.23 gear car was a quicker car than people realize for its time. Even today a stock 13sec car isnt anything to snuff at (no its not a Coyote or new LT1) let alone 25 years ago.

 

Going through these it's funny how many weren't stock. "My car stock WITH this, this, and that..did this time.."

My 96 formula with around 80k ( auto/3.23) did multiple 14.3@96 (2.2 60fts)

 

Exactly.... that's why threads like this are so pointless. Not sure why they get resurrected every 14 years or so......

Mods are in sig, although i had a few more and need to update like 1.6 rrs, underdrive pully coming soon, pcm for less tune no more hypertech. Not sure what i will run but i have weight reduction also.

 

Get it to the track and do some runs now and after your upcoming mods.
