quarter mile for stock 94 z28?? anyone know the time?

 

My car went 15.23 @ like 91mph but it had a bad MAF causing a 5k stutter.

Fixed the MAF and the car went 14.2's @ 96/97mph

 

I am assuming a 95 would run about the same times?? Mine is an m6

 

Probably about the same if not faster. I've heard that most M6 cars put down a tad more power than the A4's.

There's people that have run faster than I did stock i'm sure. Those were my numbers when my car was stock.

 

very high 13's to low 14's with good driver/conditions/tune

 

13's a pro at the shifter and 14.00 to about14.30 CAMARO PERFORMANCE did alittle write up with a 94 z28 m6 and it had a cai and cat back and maf and it only shot a 14.23 but idk i have seen some stock car put that number to shame. sooo idk

 

what about an auto? and whats the best way to launch a stock A4? i also have a 94 Z28... stock.

 

Have 3 buddys with stockish 94 Fbodies, buddy Pat in a 94 A4 Z28 ran a 13.7@99 with borla catback, K&N CAI, LT4 KM, Airfoil, 2400 Stall. My buddy Brian in another 94 Z28 with flowmaster (worthless mod aside from sound), gutted cat, MSD wires, 52mm TB (worthless mod with all that was done) and descreened MAF and shift kit believe it or not ran a 13.6@101. We were all pretty shocked on that one. then another shocker was my buddy Brad in a 94 A4 Trans am with SLP loudmouth catback, and moroso CAI ran a 13.6@100. Now what was sad is another friend of ours has a 94 Droptop Z A4 2.73 with hooker LT's ORY, hooker catback, CAI, 100 shot, and couple other little things and only ran a best of 13.7@102 and 12.8@112 on spray. He since after the embarrasment swapped to a T56 and has a 383 bottom end with heads/cam.

The rest of us all have 6 speeds though I haven't ran mine yet but heres some of theirs for the hell of it

96 WS6 M6 with borla catback and 4.10 gear 13.7@102

The other one didn't get track tested until it had IHE, underdrive pullies, and better tires. It ran 13.5 at 103 or something like that (same track, same type of day)

 

lol hmm someone told me a stock 94 z28 could run like 13.7's

 

1994 z28 auto 3.23 gears, k&n fipk and thats it, 14.1 @99

 

Mine went 13.98@100.6 when I first got it. Some people say my car is a bit of a freak because it used to run with LS1's with only a cold air, cutout, and some other little things like tb bypass etc.

 

Mine ran 15.3 at 93. But in a hot humid FL night with 188k on the ticker.

my 97Z with just an intake went:

14.23 @ 99.4mph
2.34 60 foot

that was my first time ever at the track...ill break into the thirteens i think
