To put tips or not to put tips..........
I am about to buy the 3.5" Mufflex exhaust but am unsure about whether to go with the dual tips or the single "hideaway" tailpipe......... Anybody have any pics or personal advice? With the hideaway i wouldnt have to keep it maintained and clean it like i would tailpipes..... Also i am going to put a highflow cat in but am unsure which to go with... Random Technology ok?? Which ones go best with the LT1?? I have read that you have to be making a certain amount of power to do this exaust but i figure with my mods then i am ok... Any thoughts?? Thanks alot.

Imo cars look better with tips. As for the cat. Random tech is a good cat. But they are sort of expensive. I have heard good things about the carsound cats. I think they are only like $60 or somewhere around there too.
catco cats, and turndowns.
Just remember the more your car looks like a v6, the more ricers will try and fuc k with you, i dont know if that is your thing or not. Ricers are fun for a while, but get annoying after a while.

And most of the time i do LOL, 4.10's
Anyways thanks for the advice.Chris
Yea it is kinda fun when they rev up at you at a stoplight with a big grin on their face thinking "im gonna school this firebird/camaro!!!" Then you rev back (straight cutout) all the way to 6k rpm and his stomach goes up into his throat and he backs off... i LOVE it.
It makes me feel like a real man.
My other favorite is when you toy with them and feather the gas and stay side by side with them..... then around 40 mph, you drop it into 2nd and FLY past them. It is scary as SHlT when you get passed by a LT1 with a cutout at WOT.

LMAO yeah I have almost scared people off the road that have their windows down and i fly by them on the left(cutout side facing them) and FREEK THEM OUT!!!!!!!!! LOL. Its great. By the way, do you think i will gain a little HP and Torgue with the a highflow cat and 3.5" Mufflex as apposed to the stock cat and a cutout that i am running now? I think i should gain like 5 or so,or more, ya think?
