its not at the bottom of the arrow pointing down to the little whole but at the top whre the arrow starts right b4 it says operating level...need to pull oil pan plug?

I think you'll be fine. The previous owner of my car had it overfilled by like 2 quarts! Moron. Anyway, it was fine, but if you have 20 minutes, you could drain it a little.

yeah, drain just a little out to be on the safe side. Too much oil is just as bad if not worse than too little, because it becomes foamy, aerated, and more or less altogether useless. I read a post on here a while back about a guy that put in too much oil and spun some bearings. If you wanted to be really safe, you could always change it altogether, but I think draining a little out would be fine. Just don't drive it too far the way it is.

On the other hand, if you've only got like a fourth or an eighth a quart too much it should be ok, but from a third to a half or more I would probably drain it.
