put the gear in neutral, rev it up a little bit, the SES comes on, then off
what the hell is wrong?? i'm afraid it's my coil. the speed i was going was around 15 MPH, then i saw a friend of mine, so i want to rev. i put the gear in Nuetral (A4), then i stepped on the gas, but the rpm did not go up, and i heard a "TICK" sound from under the hood, towards driver side. the next thing i know, my SES light comes on for a couple os seconds, then it went off again. after it went off, my car still runs normal, and i can rev again....what gives?? is something wrong with my car?? did fuse blew up or something?? i'm afraid it will affect my window switch for my nitrous ....please give me some info guys, thanks

Unfortunately no. Autozone does not have the type of scanner to do this with thier free scan promotion. They can do OBD2 but not the 94 and 95 OBD1s.
Your 94 requires a scanner to pull the codes.
See if you can borrow someones. I would come by and let u use mine but you are a little far away.
all the 4th gens starting with 94 require a scanner to see what the SES light is going off for.
I could take a guess but thats all it would be and I would rather have the data that a scanner can give. Sucks, I know but thats what you need.

Several different types and places to buy.
LT1 edit, Tunercat, Freescan etc.
I have an Actron Scantool. I bought this at autozone, I got a screamin deal on it.
See if you can get your buddy to pull your code. He may or may not have the right cable, 94 has OBD1 cable but 95 had OBD1 with OBD2 cable hook up. Confused yet?
I know the 94s and 95s were OBD1 and this is a good thing but they are a pain when it comes time to get the trouble codes out of them.
