I bought the hypetech module for my car and it did crap. I dyno'd my car then I put that on and dyno'd it again and I gained .7 hp I think. Waste of money. I would get a custom tune. I have a guy around here that uses LT1Edit that I bought for my laptop. Worth the extra $$ IMO.

The lt1 edit is a computer program? Can you tune your motor with the program then download it to your pcm? Do you download it with the port under the dash or actually to the pcm under the hood near the firewall? Thanks guys for ALL your help.

EDIT: Oh yea, and where do you get the cable from the comp to the pcm?!

Yeah you can tune your motor with it. It's great if your going to start doing things to your car. You can plug it in also and see exactly what your car is doing while driving around which is pretty cool. It's www.carputing.com you can get the cable and program from there and the guy is great and he helped me out when i was having problems. I went to his house and he hooked me up. I don't know if I can give the web address on here so if it doesn't show up pm me and i'll give it to you.
