Hey do i need pushrods when im installing my hotcam kit?
i gotta 96 Z and are those already hardended pushrods?

The hotcam kit rollers are self aligning, aren't they?

If you decide that you'd like some fresh ones in there, some Comp Cams hardened push rods are only $35 or so..

NO.. the 96 does not have hardened pushrods. But since you are using SA rockers you do not NEED new pushrods. but as always you will want to do a visual inspection... roll them on a flat surface, like glass and make sure they are perfectly flat.

 

I would recomend getting the hardened pushrods. After adding a bigger cam and more powerful springs people have been known to bend them at high rpms.
