pushrods?

ok i've been told the stock length of pushrod for my lt1 is 7.2, now my question is, which i searched and didn't find nothing, but do i need to get alonger pushrod when i put in my cc306 with 1.6 rrs? thanks

unless you get a really thin or extra thick gasket you wont need to. i didnt and i have a 383 with stock ported heads.

have you machined the head down any at all??? if not you wont need to either.
