purpose for TB bypass?!?

purpose for TB bypass?!?

whats the advantage? is it safe to have it done all year round? if it makes that much of a deal, how come everyone dosent have it done? any info will help! thanks fellas!

It keeps the temperature of the throttlebody much lower. This lowers the temp of on coming air and keeps your hp from falling off. There was a dyno done on www.ws6.com and i think it showed it prevented him from losing 5rwhp. I think almost everyone on this board has it done. If they don't its probably because they don't know about it or how to do it.

ooooooh...i get it now... but is it safe to run all year round, not saying that i'd ever ever have my car out in the snow, but if its cold out and i wanna start it up, im not going to damage anything. Y didnt GM just do the bypass in the first place? that makes no sense to me...o well...

I'm sure you'll be fine. I've had mine by passed for almost 4 years now and no problems. I've driven my car in 0 degree temps no problem.

Because the f-body platform was sold in places where temperature reaches well below zero.

That instruction if for 93/94 cars. You don't need the coupling on the 95-97 cars.

Oh yeah i forgot they are different. I just grabbed the first one that worked off Brents site and cut and pasted it.
