purpose for TB bypass?!?
Re: purpose for TB bypass?!?
It keeps the temperature of the throttlebody much lower. This lowers the temp of on coming air and keeps your hp from falling off. There was a dyno done on www.ws6.com and i think it showed it prevented him from losing 5rwhp. I think almost everyone on this board has it done. If they don't its probably because they don't know about it or how to do it.
ooooooh...i get it now... but is it safe to run all year round, not saying that i'd ever ever have my car out in the snow, but if its cold out and i wanna start it up, im not going to damage anything. Y didnt GM just do the bypass in the first place? that makes no sense to me...o well...
