purple wire

what is that purple wire coming from the computer?

well its a fairly big wire darkish purple coming from where the computer is located and it goes down towards the water pump.

the reason why i ask is because the wire is bare i think it was burnt off by a header or something and just want to know how to replace it.

A large single wire? That does not sound familiar. Most all factory wire runs inside the tubing. Any idea what year the car is?

You should be able to splice into what's left. Just be sure to use the same gauge wire.

would that be the reason why my car starts funny?
its takes a while to start up, i let it run for a minute, turn it off and it starts right up?

i was just looking at it and my wire does go all the way down to the water pump. it has lots of slack
