Pulling heads

Ok, how hard is it?

Im planning on pulling my stock heads and putting on some ported ones and need to know how hard and time consuming it is.

Ive done all the bolt on stuff for LT1s and i have also done a head swap on a saturn.

Thanks,
Stu

I would say it's relatively easy. It's just time consuming since you have to pull the headers, intake manifold, label vacuum lines & wires.. tedious things, but not difficult.

For exactly how long it'll take, who knows! I did mine over the course of 3 weekends. Pretty leisurely pace too, just working at it whenever I had a few hours to.

not hard at all, just keep your bases covered and be **** with cleanliness

looks ugly under the hood but everything falls into place upon reassembly (wires, hoses etc.)

It is quite simple.Just label your vac lines. The electrical plugs are all different and only go in one place. Alsp put your nuts, bolts and screws in zip loc bags and label them. Most importantly keep everthing clean.
