My exhaust builder likes the Flowmaster, but I don't. He also has magnaflow's and some other muffler. The Exhaust will be 4" with turn down at the Axles. I just want it to sound good. What do you guy's think. What will sound good? Maybe someone has a sound clip that I could hear. Thanks

Wow. Aren't LT header collectors only 3" anyway? Just curious why you would do dual 4".

Does this mean you are selling your borla

borla XR1 bullet
magnaflow race series bullets
dynomax race bullets
theyre all well known for very highflow bullets.....i mean, a straight open 4" pipe can only flow so much, so they should all be pretty close ..probably the only difference would be their tone/sound and price.
ive heard twin borla XR1s on some true duals and they sound wondeful, i liked it better than the dynomax's......thats probably why theyre 3x the price.
havent heard the magnaflows though.

HP Performance from Roswell NM is building me a custom turbo setup. Car goes to them in a month. Once this race season is over with, I'm putting some low compression slugs in there and see what she does. Going with a t-88 on this one.

I vote for either Dynomax Bullets or Spintechs. Spintechs sound like a Bullet and a Flowmaster mixed together...or I personally think that at least. Plus, they are a lot less restrictive than Flowmaster.
I'd wager that bullets are gonna be insanely loud on your car. I had Dynomax bullets with 3" true duals on a stock motor and it sounded like a nascar at WOT. With another 200 hp, yours will be even louder. I now have Borla XS mufflers. They aren't a bullet, but they are straight through. Nice and quiet, on a stock motor that is. It has a great sound too. If you try them, I don't think you'll be sorry. Curious, you said Jordon recommended 4" exhaust. Did he recommend a single 4" or dual 4"? From my understanding, dual 3" is good for more than 500 hp. If I remember correctly, Mindgame had 3" back to the axle where it transitioned to 2.5" over the axle, and he was at 563 rwhp. Are you going to run an x-pipe? I'd guess that at your power level, exhaust tuning (as far as x-pipe distance from collectors, merge collectors, etc.) could net you 20 rwhp or more.
