pulled code #'s...

okay, ive got a set of 4 numbers pulled from the computer. these werent all in one day. it came on a little bit ago and i just got the oportunity to get them read. some of them are pretty obvious what they mean. and then there is a couple i dont quite understand. here you go:

p300-random cylinder misfire
p410-secondary air injection system malfunction
p420-catalyst system efficiency below threshold (bank 1)
p1642-fuel pump monitor circuit low input/ can link ecm/ tcm circuit

we cleared the codes and seemed to be fine on the way home. should i have to wory about any of these? if the ses light comes back on, i'm going to get the codes read again and go ahead and get a scan tool to run a diagnostic on it (or at least try to learn how to). is there any way to ensure none of these happen again? thanks for the help. i'm trying to learn here, just takes a while.

Well im not positive but the random cylinder misfire could mean u have one or more bad plugs. Does the car seem to surge under WOT? My car does after about 4.5 grand on the tach and my friends Z did the same thing a while back and turned out to be the plugs. p410 code sounds like it has something to do with ur A.I.R. system messing up but dont really what could really go wrong with it unless you dont have something hooked up or somethings blocked off wrong. As for the other two they obviously have something to do with the cat and fuel pump but other then that no idea. Hope that helps you out a lil bit.

well, i dont think i have noticed any surge really. the plugs are a year and a half old. i put them in about 25k miles ago and they were the acdelco brand. that does suck if it is a plug. those things are a pain in the a$$ to change. i think ill wait and see if it does it again. if it does, i'll start with the plugs and go from there. i dont know about the rest of the stuff...???

Some of those have a tendency to come and go. I would not worry about it until you get a repeat,

BTW, P1642 is Fan Control (FC) relay 2 and 3 control circuit. It means it saw something wrong with the high speed fans/relays.
