problems getting off the second piece on the balancer (hub)

problems getting off the second piece on the balancer (hub)

i pulled the balancer off and now i am left with the hub and i have bent 2 3 jaw pullers tring to pull it off. when i did my cam swap i thought i used a 3 jaw pull but cant remember. do i need to go and buy the hub puller?

the secret is you need to push against the bolt that hold the hub on. just unscrew it half way and try that... may need to keep unscrewing the bolt a little and pushing against it till the hub falls off.

well i screwed it half way out and tried that and it is still bending the screw pin on the 3 jaw puller.

Oh well i am not sure then... .get yourself a hub puller instead of a 2 or 3 jaw puller.

FWIW I rented mine from autozone... not sure if they still rent tools out to the public though.
