i got my headers awhile ago and cant put them on until the end of may. in the meantime i was going to order msd plug wires, ngk tr55 plugs, and an msd 6al ignition with blastercoil, and put them on while while i do the headers. do you guys think this is a good ignition setup or is there one better? sometime in june/july i plan on doing 3.73 and a TC then a tune. is there any other boltons that i should do this summer other than a fan switch? also im doing the suspension stuff in the winter, to get ready for my afr heads and cam next summer. thanks for the input

 

If you're going to run nitrous, the 6AL is great insurance. Otherwise I'd spend the money elsewhere.

 

Your not going to see any advantages to ignition and coil parts till you start making serious HP. I would just stay with stock and change your plugs and wires out. Unless you plan on NOS as stated, the 6AL is a great piece to have. Go with the gears and TC and on from there and you'll be happy.
