Problems...

My car is backing in and out under WOT starting around 4500rpms, and will continue until it finally shifts. I was thinking that it sounds like ignition problems but no ignition codes are being thrown. However, its throwing a "crankshaft position sensor code" and "EGR malfunction", also "MAF or VAF malfunction" codes...........if anyone could help i would appreciate it - thanks.

The first thing to check when you get a bunch of unrelated codes is the output of the alternator. If it is putting out AC voltage above 0.03 V, the diodes are bad and it drives the PCM wacky. While the car is running, set a meter to AC and measure between the ground terminal at the battery and the output of the alternator. If it's at 0.03 or higher, replace the alternator.

That's a common symptom of bad wires... specifically a bad coil wire. Take the coil wire off and see if there is a bunch of "white powdery stuff" in there. If so, wires are your likely problem
