Problems...

Well... looks like I killed a head gasket on the way to work tonight. I was driving along and got on it a little bit to speed up after slowing down for a light. Then, the car lost power and when I looked in the rear view, it was blowing white smoke like an old steamer. The oil didn't appear milky, but then again, I couldn't see it very well. I'll check it again in the morning. Any other thoughts?

And yeah, I'm probably going to install a 224/236 cam since I'll have to yank most of the motor apart anyway.

No need to guess at things. You'll find out plenty when you tear it down

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that nothing is cracked or really fudged up. I didn't hear any strange noises, just lots of white smoke. At least for once, a cop was helpful.
