My car skips and pops at idle to 2500 like most f-bodys, but tonight the check engine likght came on the the skipping went away and it ran fairly well, no hesitation or anything. Then the check engine light went off and skipping and popping came back.
Any helps on fixing this problem?

My Car does the same thing. It actually gets bad enough to put out black smoke at 1500 rpms.

I have replaced the opti, plugs and wires, EGR Valve, cleaned the Throttle Body. New Intake Air Charge Sensor.

This will help put topic on the top of the board!
