Problem with wipers, Need your help!

Ok, I'm having trouble with my wipers not going down after I turn them off. The wipers work fine, but when I shut them off they don't go down all the way, they sit up on the windshield. Is this a relay problem? Or is there something else I need to be looking for.

Thanks
Tuff.

It's the PC board inside the wiper motor assembly...
What I did is get a used wiper motor off the 'for sale' forum here for like 20 bux and its been OK ever since..
I think a new wiper motor assembly is about 200 or so..

Thanks for the help, I wasn't shore. I was hopin' that it would be a relay, not the wiper motor.

i had a problem with my wipers. after trying and trying everything i found out it was the switch on the steering column that was broken, if nothing else works replace that. my wipers would come one and then about 3 min into it they would stop usually in the middle of the window.

Where is the wiper relay? And I'm having problems with mine too. Is it hard to replace the switch? And how do I change it?

Wiper.

The wipers come on automatically when you mist the winshield? Right? So if the switch went out. There'd be no mist would there? Wouldn't that trigger the wipers, and eliminate the switch going out?

GM Sells a wiper cover kit which basically replaces the cover kit components in your existing wiper motor assembly. (the up/down control thinggy).

Problem is if the kit doesnt fix it (which it should) you can't return it because its electronic.

I bought a remanufactured motor.

That's the PC board on the wiper motor I was referring to in above post.. [it controls the 'park' etc..]
Also, there is no 'wiper relay' in these cars..
