Well I went into a store for a min and when i came back out the car started but sounded funny like it was flooding out then it died and when I tryed to start it back it spun over real fast and easy like it had no compression so I check the CAI and Elbow cause I just had it off the night before and it was all fine so I tryed to start it again and it started just fine and sounded right well I noticed my check gauges light on and my Oil pres was 0 at idel I was like WTF so I killed it and checked the oil it was fine well I only was a few blocks from home so I started driven it well the oil psi went up a lil to like 10 going down the road but everthing sounded ok well when I stoped it went to 0 so I let the car cool off and checked the oil again it was fine and deside to check the oil sending unit wires since I just done heads and cam and had it all a part well evrthing seemed find so I started it up and wow I have oil psi now 20psi at idel and 40psi going down the road =) So now someone tell me what it would not start and sounded so bad. I am running mobil1 syntic oil 10w30.

hmmm could be a lot of thing's... you said you just did heads and cam.. was it your first time? you may just need to go over everything and make sure you didn't forget anything... at the most could be a bad oil pressure sending unit, which is located on the back of the intake manifold... also check for vacum leaks like all the hoses on the intake, make sure their all plugged in etc. also you might wanna re-tighten your header bolts as well... hmm i would just start there and see how it goes...

 

Thanks I will check all of it but this is not the first set of heads and cam we have done. I drove the car today and eevrthing seemed fine 40+ psi driven and 20 at idel. I would just like to know what caused it not to want to start it seemed like it had no spark or fuel.
