mines on also, i believe the consensus on my thread was that there is a bad groud somewhere. i also have the low trac light flickering and ABS inop on. somethings fishy somewhere, id start by checking grounds.......FWIW people suggested the alternator also, but it didnt turn out to be that.
good luck and keep us posted!

Do you mean the light that comes on when you apply the parking brake? That would be the brake warning light. Chances are that you have some problem in the main braking system that is turning the light on, not in the parking brake.

ok......let me see if i get this. when the parking brake is applied the brake light should be on. if the parking brake is not applied, technically it should go off. if its still on it means there is some kind of problem somewhere in the braking system, correct??
thanks

The "BRAKE" light is also connected to the pressure sensor on the side of the ABS unit. That detects unequal pressures between the front and rear braking systems. Check for a leak in one of the systems, or low fluid in one of them.

ok, based on this problem.........can someone help me solve this equation:

flickering low trac light+brake light+abs inop light=??????

everything except the ABS inop light goes out after a little while..................abs inop is always on

thanks
brian

FWIW this all happened when the car was stored.......one week it was a-ok, next week these symptoms.
