Problem with the engine
Hello!
One of my friends suggested that you folks could possibly help me in solving my problem.
I have late 1997 Camaro Z28 with peculiar problem. For last 2 years I have frequented Shaganappi Chev-Olds dealership in Calgary, trying to get my problem diagnosed and fixed.
My car runs perfect when cold, however when engine reaches its operating temperature it begins misbehaving. For example around 80 km per hour engine visibly "chokes" - to me it looks like not all cylinders are working.
When hot, engine is capable of stalling, most typical scenario: moving away from the lights and turning at the same time ( power steering kicks in ).
Anyway after spending more than 2 K on various parts replacements ( and labour of course ) I am ready to give up. I have no more faith in the dealer's mechanics.
Regards,

Regards,
Whenever I would turn and / or come to a stop, it would stall and shut down...ran good when cold though...and it turned out to be the Idle Air Control (IAC) sensor located on the throttle body. Just got mine from Sam Taylor for $59 shipped. Goodluck
