Background/info on engine:
Forged 383CI engine
worked AFR 195's
224I/234E @ .050 w/ 1.6rr
LTCC coil on cylinder setup
Coated Pacesetter LT's w/ dual 3" into single 4" exhaust
Auto/2600 stall
ect. ect.

Well i just got my 383 setup running a few months ago and it runs great and i couldnt be any happier. but lately ive been having a problem and its been bugging me.

The problem im having is that when i start the car when its hot like after i stop to get gas or something it runs strange for a short time.

it seems that when i hot start the car it idles fine in park or in gear but when you give it enough gas to accelerate a little it feels like it has a leak past the mass air sensor, the revs just dont want to climb it just has a loss of power like its running on 4 cylinders. but if you give it some more gas it will all of a sudden feel like someone just switched on the other 4 cylinders and from that point out it will run fine. and the problem wont present itself untill i turn it off and wait a minute then re-hot-start it.

Im just a little stumped about this problem because it only happens for a moment or so and then goes away and the car will run fine.

Any suggestions or ideas on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you don't have a fuel pressure gage in the car since you didn't mention it. If not get, a hosed gage and tape it to the windshield so you can see what it's doing when the problem occurs.

You really should have a fuel pressure gage in the car with that setup.
