pro mag 1.6 rrs noisey?

Are these things supposed to be a little noisey? I have the steel ones not the aluminum ones. They are adjusted correctly and not chattering but it sounds like there is a sewing machine under my hood at idle.

They are more quiet on stock cams due to "slower" ramp but tend to make more ticking on higher performance cams with "faster" ramps and more lift. Totally normal.

Mine make noise around 2400-2600 rpms. Maybe it's the way I have them adjusted... no clue. I just know that's where the noise occurs!

Heck, I kind of like the sound of a slight tick on the ProMags, just as long as it isn't too loud and doesn't trigger knock retard.
