Pro 5.0 Shifter and B&M Ripper, which has the shortest throw?

I have a B&M Ripper on my Z now. I see a lot of GP's in the "Paying Advertisers" section. Is there much of a difference in the throw? I don't know anyone around that has it installed on their car. Just curious.

depends on how short you cut your stick....

If you run the Lou short stick with the Pro 5.0 it is a shorter throw.

I am pretty sure they are both about equal. So just buy whichever one you think is best (I'd reccomend Pro 5.0) and cut the stick to the length you prefer.

Cool

Pro 5.0 is not a "short throw" shifter. B&M is. So is the SLP model. Only two true short throw mechanisms I know of for our cars.

The Pro 5.0 is a very precise shifter and with a shorter stick will give the feel of a "short throw" mechanism which is below shifter at transmission in reality.
