What kinds of problems are there with installing a pre 87 smallblock into a 95 Camaro Z28. I have a brand new 76 406 smallblock and a 95 Z28 body. People are telling me that the intake manifold (single plane super victor) will hit the firewall as well as the carb. Secondly, I do know that a crank trigger style ignition would be desirable. My main question is what clearance issues will there be.

 

Don't know what modifications are TOO MUCH for ya but, the distributor will not work. It would be past the firewall.
