Powerless windows on my door
Hey guys, I dont think this is the right place to post this but it is the closest to the topic so here goes:
I unscrewed everything on my door and it is readey to take off, but the damn window roller thingy is in the way, how do I take this off so I can take off the door panel!?

typically they just pull off, i've read that it is recommended to slide something behind the center part, and just slowly work it around till the handle comes off of it's shaft....it's also worth a look to see if there is some type of pin or locking screw on the side...
There is a metal c clip looking thing on the backside of it. You can get a tool at checkers for a couple bucks to remove it and it will help to put it back on too. Or you can get talented and use a flat blade screwdriver.
When you are ready to replace the window crank, just install the clip in it's properly seated position on the crank, line up the position of the crank (proper clocking, 1, 2, 3 o'clock etc.) on the splined shaft and hit it with the bottom of your fist. It will seat in place without the use of any tool.
