Power Steering pulley removal???

Hey all!

Hope I am not posting this in the wrong forum!

Has anyone ever removed their power steering pulley? This is for a 95Z. It looks like I will need to use a puller to get it off. And I have access to those tools, just wanted to see if anyone else had done this before, and if there is anything I specifically *need* to know. There is always something "special"
with these cars.

It looks like it would be tight from the top, do I need to remove the shrouds, etc. or try this from the bottom. Thought I would post here first.

Thanks

It takes a special puller, I bought mine at a local parts house. I got mine at a Carquest dealer. They are made for power steering pulleys. Mine cost around $50, and I have used it many times. I can take a pulley off in less than 5 minutes.

Thank you for your reply!

My mechanic has the special puller, and I am going to use them. Just wanted to know if I can remove it from the top, or if I need to try from under the car.

Thanks!
