Power Steering Cooler

I think I managed to fry my power steering pump on my last canyon run

Well anywho, looked into finding ways to prevent this from happening again and found a good write up on a cooler modification.

linky

Anybody else want to add to this, any further insight, did it help, or should I look for just upgrading the power steering, if possible?

I needed something to cool it down, that thing keep whining on me after runs I was thinking the samething, looks to be a pretty cool idea.

Was wondering if the SCCA guys use this trick.

Lots of folks that track their cars put in a cooler like that. Some put it in front of the stock radiator, that's the other place you might mount it.

The other thing is to run the fluid just a bit on the low end of the dipstick. It won't splash around quite so much.
