Power steering, can it be done....

Hey guys, have had a power steering leak for a while, but my lazy behind didn't bother fixing it. Well sure enough it finally got worse, gushed power steering fluid while parking for work today. After I got it home I found a small cut (~1/8" long) on the pressure hose. I checked with the local parts dealer, and they can get the hoses but it will be a few days. Should I:

A. Tape/epoxy the hole and hope it holds until I can get the new hoses
B. Wrap some larger hose around it and clamp it down but not too tight.... minimize leakage until I get the new hoses
C. Cut the clamp portions of the metal to rubber connections, but some generic 3/8" hose, and clamp it together until I get the new hoses.
D. Same as C, but maybe permanent???

Let me know what you guys think, got a few more hours before crunch time. I don't necessarily HAVE to have the car, but I HATE leaving my wife at home with no vehicle (new baby in the house)

Thanks,
Jonota

If it's the pressure side hose, I doubt a patch will hold. If it's the return line, you should have good luck with a temporary patch.

what about cutting off the stock clamp (pressure clamp to make a one piece metal and rubber hose) to the tubing, then using a normal rubber hose with a metal flathead screwdriver clamp.....?
