power loss at low rpms?

hi guys

after driving for about 10mins my car struggles to pull away in 1st 2nd
till i get to say 3000rpm then everythings ok (full power)
theres no SES and i had my car scanned (no problems)

new:fuel filter, plugs, leads, previous owner fitted new opti (remanafactured)

i thought it might be the egr so i deleted it all,but it still does it..

Sticky injector? How fast does your fuel pressure drop when you shut if off? Do you have any starting issues?

How well does it idle? You say about 10 minutes, related to closed loop?

What is your vacuum at idle?

Have you looked for any tears or ends folded over on the elbow at the throttle body? Just got done showing a newby his was all torn to shreads.

Re: power loss at low rpms?

hi thanks for your help...

it happens when the air pump stops running after a few minutes is that when it goes into closed loop?
ive got a trickflow inlet elbow everythings fitted ok

it idles a little bit wavey up and down but you can hardly notice it and my car starts first time so i dont think its a fuel problem

i have got a intake oil leak where the egr is,would cause a vacuum leak?

Re: power loss at low rpms?

I've seen lots of engines "hunt" at idle due to low fuel supply. Couple that with the fact that during the warm up of your engine (open loop) it does not seem to suffer from the lack of power that it does when it leans out in closed loop. And that leads me to start looking in the fuel direction.

I'de check the fuel pressure and have your injectors flow matched. You can also try 2 tanks of this stuff. Available at a lot of parts stores and at dealers also. It's awesome. What could it hurt?

LOL that's funny. Kids, don't get in a hot tub and then try to type!

Here's the stuff to clean the top end of the engine. Try 2 tanks

http://www.autobahnpower.com/products.asp?recnumber=92

Available just about everywhere GOOD parts are sold.

Sorry I left it out of the last post.
