Re: power estimates

I'd say you're making about 260rwhp and should be running low 13s with a good driver at around 104mph or so.

Re: power estimates

Yeah, about 260-275 ish is the best you will see with just bolt ons on an LT1. Also probably with a good launch with DR's probably a low 13, 103-105 MPH range.

Re: power estimates

long tubes, true duals and maybe getting the computer re-tuned would get you closer to the 300rwhp figure you want

Re: power estimates

Get some fully roller rocker arms like the comp cams pro-magnum, an electric water pump, Long tubes, dual cut outs (if you do this you wont need a true dual set up, and you will then be able to turn the noise on and off), and get tuned, tuned, tuned. Make sure the MAF is descreened and ported also. Upgrading your ignition prolly won't gain much hp, but its good to do.

Re: power estimates

There's little else you can do except maybe the LT's, and a new tune. But even then I doubt you would breech the 300 RWHP line.

If you want to go cheep, and not touch the motor. I would say, a 50-75 shot of Nitrous.

If you think that may be risky, then I would agree with THEBEAST94AGT in saying get some new rocker arms at least. There's really only so much you can acheive with leaving your LT1 motor "stock".
