Post your times (503 cam only)

I'm just wondering if my car (97 Z) is right where it should be with my set up. I have the 503 cam with bolton's; long tubes, madZ tune, CAI, exhaust no cats or mufflers, under drive pulley, forged internals, ported intake, spec 3 clutch and fidanza flywheel. Stock gears, heads, and rockers. I ran a best of 12.8 @ 108mph with Drag radials. 0% humidity DA about 800ft above level, and cool day 60*

I think with the mph it might run 12.40's. I'm guessing it can 60ft. a little harder.

I run 12.8x with bolt-ons @ 3900 #. My buddy ran 11.95 with that cam and bolt-ons. Something is off, most are in the 12.0x range.

What is your 1/8 mile times? Mine are in sig. No drag radials when I ran mine....just the 275's on my GM SS wheels.

Your 60' times arent too bad but something is not right you should be running much better then that. First thing i would do is get a dyno tune done as im sure its not perfect and you will gain without a doubt some power aswell to figure out where and why its not making power.

I cant remember the 1/8 times. The only thing bothering me is my trap, you are rite a dyno will help for sure. I was hoping for mid 12's and trap at least 110

Get it dyno tuned and come back if its still not running right. Thats the only way to know how your car is running and where its falling off. Could be a misfire, valve float, etc but a dyno tune will definetly get alot of the bugs worked out and get the most potential out of your setup.
