need help emergency!!!
ok brothers i hope anyone who reads this can help me, before i left today i wanted to check the lower radiator hose to make sure that it was on very tight. i seen that it was bound to pop right off like it was coming off the radiator. Then i losen the clamp to re adjust the hose to the proper spot and tighten it very well till the hose went thru the clamp then i stopped because i didnt want to over tighten it to cause a leak. I started up the car, then checked the lower radiator it didnt move or slide etc.
And if you guys are wondering/thinking i have done the following.
1.all the air is out of the both bleeder screws.
2.radiator cap is new
3.the lower radiator hose is new. with a new clamp
4.t stat is new and the correct LT1 one
5.the cars temp is perfect the fans are coming on properly and the temp goes back to the middle after fans turn on.
6.I dont hear any garling or boiling after i drive the the car.

Re: need help emergency!!!
Does the hose fit properly? Eventually they can become swollen and not fit snugly- and in combination if the 'nub' is missing off the end of the stem its not going to stay.
The hose should stay on the stem and seal without having to be clamped. Obviously you wouldn't run it this way- but its one way I check to ensure the hoses aren't worn out.
They are cheap to buy new if it is bad. Check both the hose and the nub- I suspect one or both of those will be your problem. If not the system might be building excessive pressure- How old is your radiator cap?
