Is it possible to swap out the digital odometers?

Just as the subject says? I can't get the gas gauge to work on the current cluster I have, but it has low miles, so just want to know If I get another cluster, even if it has high miles, is it possible to swap out the odometers? Thanks.

I know it's possible to reprogram it, but only certain places have the equipment to do that, such as dealerships (some) and their vendors.

Can you switch out a car with the mechanical cluster, (95 TA) for the newer 97+ digital cluster?

that would be a risk. a circuit might be different in the newer cluster and might burn out a gauge or something. try it with a cheapo cluster from ebay first. i see them go for 40 or 50 bucks sometimes. worst thing that can happen is a gauge fuggin up or blow a fuse. i know the 98-02 camaro and firebird clusters are the same. we threw a 99 camaro ss cluster in my friends broke down 01 formula. worked perfect. try a 97 camaro or firebird.
