Is this possible? p1133 code

A while ago my car had a p1133 code. I thought it was the oxygen sensor but this weekend i put magnaflow cat backs on my car and the SES light went off. Is it possible that the p1133 code was solved by my new catback.

no not all unless you jarred the sensor and it had a badconnection or so just before you put the new exhaust on

P1133 is for "slow switching".... not the heater. It would take a strange series of events to relate a precat sensor slow switching code to changing the catback (although you said "cat backS".... which means??). Change in back-pressure may be a very remote possibility.

sorry i meant cat back. So the SES light going off is probably unrelated to my changing the cat back? I did unplug my battery recently but i drove over 75miles. Thats how long it takes the computer to restart right?

I don't believe there's a 75 mile requirement to "restart" the PCM. It starts to function as soon as you restart the engine. In OBD-II it just won't confirm all "systems ready" for emissions testing untill a specific number of drive cycles after the PCM was reset.

The diagnostic routine for P1133 is only run once per key cycle, and lasts for 100 seconds. Its possible your O2 sensor was not acting up during that one test.

Did you drive that car 75 miles in one shot (one cycle of the key - on and off)? If so, the PCM only ran the diagnostic to count the number of righ-lean switches ONCE, and only over a 100 second period.
