Possible fuel pressure issue

I think I may have a fuel pressure issue. I have the Racetronix kit. I attached a fuel pressure gauge and here are the results.

WOT 40-41 psi
IDLE 34-35 psi
KOEO primes to 42 psi then drops to 33 psi then rises to 40 psi
Engine on vacuum removed from regulator 42 psi
The pressure does not hold for long after the key is turned off. It begins to drop within ten minutes.

If I have a problem, what do I need to check first? Please help!

Re: Possible fuel pressure issue

Pressures appear normal. Maybe too rapid a loss on shutdown, but that will only affect starting, not the way the engine runs, and if it takes 10 minutes before it starts to drop, its not a severe problem.

Re: Possible fuel pressure issue

Thanks for the fast response injuneer. What would cause the rapid loss of fuel pressure on shut down? Where do people get the 43.5 psi from? Glad to know I am within normal limits. I am trying to trace down a problem with my long term trims.
