I have a broken exhaust valve spring on my '95 T/A and was about to replace it. I hooked up air to the #8 cylinder (to keep the valve up) but could still hear some air slightly coming out. I couldn't really pinpoint where it was coming from but is it normal to hear a little air (maybe escaping in the header) or should I hear no air at all?

i broke a spring and was going to use that same method. how did things come out? you can PM me if you want....any info would be great. did you replace all the spring or just that one? did you bend the push rod too? thanks andrew
