Cool POS plastic cover on e-brake handle replacement ?

My plastic handle on e-brake is coming apart with each pull.

Are there any more sturdy pieces to replace it with?

Did a search for "emergency brake handle" but nothing of substance came up.

Any ideas, part numbers (even GM OEM if there is no better aftermarket one) or links.

TIA for any replies.

Mine is leather covered, it's in very good shape and never had any problem with it. They may hold up a little better than the plastic ones, maybe you could try that.

call up speed automotive and see if they have something decent out of one of their junkers...
