I put headers on my car just over 2 years ago, but at the time I didn't know it had ported heads, so I didn't check to see if the 1406's blocked any of the exhaust port. My question is do the 1406's block any of the exhaust port on ported LT1 heads, and if they do is it worth the hassle of putting on new header gaskets and cutting them so they match the exhaust port?

 

Someone would have to open the exhaust port up a *huge* amount for the headers to block the port. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

 

I'm not worried about the headers, I mean the header gaskets.
