when i happen to stop quickly or take a tight low speed turn and hit the brakes i get a one time popping sound from my passenger side. it sounds sorta of similar to a broken tranny mount, but i just replaced that so i know it isnt that. do any of you know what that may be? thanks for your help.

 

Check your tie rod end...I had the same thing happen to me recently and I noticed a ripped boot. Going to have it replaced when it's conventient, I think that's what's making the noise.

edit: im not saying that's what it is for sure, even in my case, but I suspect that it is. You may also want to check the tightness of the LCA bolts, if you have aftermarket ones.
