Poping sound somethings lose

I could really use some help.

1995-Z like new with only 26k miles. Automatic transmission, Car is completely stock. The car runs perfectly and the transmission shifts fine but it recently started making a thumping / popping sound that’s coming from under the car, can offend feel it come from the floorboard and resonates through the shift lever. Almost Sounds like a transmission mount or rear-end mount has come lose?? Only happens under heavy load, when I put my foot down on her and she changes or is just about to shift. Then thump!

Any idea what could be wrong? I'm not in the office so if you have an answer that might help please email me at ohsales@aol.com

Thanks,
Danny

You broke your transmission mount. You can get another stock mount which will break again or you can replace it with a polyeurethane mount. I have had the poly mount from Prothane in my car for about 2 years now and highly recommend it. About $20 from Summit.

Thats what I thought also. Sounds like a bowling ball hitting the bottom of the car when it kicks.

Thanks,
