Poor Fuel Ecomony
Poor Fuel Ecomony
Hey guys, hope all is well.
Getting some garbage fuel economy out of my 95 M6 lately. Noticed it the second half of last summer as well, but didn't do anything about it. Brought the car out again last week and was quickly reminded as I only did about 160 miles on a full tank with normal drioving. I figure some of that might be caused by the fact the car has been sitting for so long, but regardless, I wasn't doing much better before. Otherwise drives fine, no noticable loss in power or histation. Car has 70k miles and the plugs and wires have been done once.
Thanking you in advance,
Asim

Thier not too bad, about a 15 minute job including jacking the car up and lowering it back down. You don't NEED to change them as much as doing a tune up but it is a good idea and if their bad they will cause the car to run rich and you will get bad gas milage. Thier just two sensors with pigtails on them and they have a hex shape on them you use to tighten them down. I think it was a 21 MM socket I had to use. It was pretty big, don't remember the exact size.
