They are not too harsh, but they do have more vibration transmitted into the cockpit.
I swapped mine to polys when I did longtubes.

I changed mine out and noticed no increase in vibration. Actually I thought that the vibrations became less but maybe my mounts were wore a little more than yours.

I had new oem mounts on w/ less than 2K and switched. Big improvement and the engine will barely twist now. Feels more solid in the car and vibrations at least for me are non existent. Wish I'd had done it sooner.

I've got poly in mine and I dont even notice they're there. Dont vibrate any more then my stock ones did, and keep the engine nice and steady

Where's the cheapest place to buy poly's? I'm thinking of switching to stiffen up the engine so my y-pipe doesn't hit.

If you don't notice any increase in vibration, then they aren't doing anything! Or you are a "bad" noticer.

<~~ Is 23 also...I have Energy Suspension Master Bushing Kits in both cars...the black one has the poly bushings from BMR in all the parts. It makes the car feel every bump...but I personally think they make a big difference in the handling of the car. The poly tranny mount especially makes the center console vibrate more. 3 F-bodies ( 2 A4, 1 M6) , all three have poly tranny mounts, and all three consoles vibrate at stop lights (sometimes). Like someone else said, it's all about how much you can take. Besides...after you mash the gas, and you're doing over 100 mph with a trail of tire smoke still behind you, passangers forget all about the little bumps and vibrations they just felt.

I'd go for the poly mounts myself.... but then again both my daily drivers have solid mounts
