when changing the spark plug wires on my 93 Z28 on the passenger side i removed the alternator and belt tensioner to get access to them, ive seen people say remove the P/S pump but i didnt want to lose fluid or make a mess, just the alt and tensioner removal gave me the space and acess needed.

Lol, this brings me back to when I first got my Z...some ten years ago now. The reason I say that is because I drove around for like a year with electrical tape wrapped around my plug wires where they were cracked and arching on things in the engine bay. The trick to finding where the archs are is to start it at night, let your eyes adjust and you can see the archs as they happen...lol. Good luck.

Meh, I plan to go turbo, so better just to get the whole thing running smooth right now until I can afford to put money into the engine. At this point I am focusing more on suspension to withstand the turbo.

Lol, after some embarrassment at my original plan, which I now know was very very very misguided.... :P

That's kind of what I'm hoping. It's not like I haven't worked on plugs and wires before, just not on this engine. We'll see....
