plug wire question

plug wire question

i've seen people who have their plug wires ran over their valve covers, are those plug wires easy to put on??

i have jet hot lt's, and i need to replace plugs and wires. where can i get plug wires like that and what all will i need?

thanks. i don't have the extra 100$ for that right now, i just need to get my car running. how hard is it to install plug wires on a car w/ headers???

If you're asking if it's easy to install plug wires on a car with headers routed in the stock looms, no. It's not overly difficult, but you run the severe risk of burning wires if you do.

An OTVC setup is well worth the $100. I haven't burned a wire since.

well, i could get that kit later,,,if i got it at another time, could i use the same plug wires,,or would i have to get longer ones???

Another option is side mounting. See pic. You won't have to fool with the wire looms everytime you take the vlave cover off. Again, it's $100 from Thunder Racing.

Or just save the 100 bucks and route your wires carefully.
If you want OVC for looks then thats cool spend the dough, if your doing it cause your burning wires then you need to route better.
I have Hooker LTs and careful routing and have not burned a wire in 4k miles, not even close.
