Pls tell me what NSA RR to get!

I am sorry for beating a dead horse... I did a search, and my head is about to explode

Please somebody tell me what RR (NSA) for stock studs to get. Lightly ported '97 LT1, LT4 springs, stock valvecovers, don't want to change anything else. Looking for some power increase, but mostly for reliability. Thank you for your patience!

Installing NSA rockers requires removal of the rocker studs to install the guideplates, so there's no reason to reuse the stock studs. Upgrade to a good 7/16" stud, especially if reliability is a priority.

Yes, you don't want studs flexing on you at high RPM.

Comp Pro Magnum rockers are my favorite, although Crane makes a decent set as well.
The idea is to use a quality rocker to keep friction and weight to a minimum.

Harland Sharp NSA 3/8 stud. They are "narrow body", full rollers, and they will fit under the valve covers without having to cut them up. No need to get larger studs imo. Your not going to spin the stock block that high anyway. Summit has them. Good price too. I am running the 1.65 but they make a 1.6 also. I also bought ARP 3/8 studs with them since the old ones had to come off anyway to install guideplates.

If your going to replace the studs anyways why would anyone go with 3/8 over 7/16? The studs don't coast any different, neither do the rockers. If it were me I would go with ARP 7/16 studs, GMPP guideplates, 7/16 Comp Promag rockers, and Comp one peice Chromoly pushrods.
