Please recomend a good cam for my combo.

some one bothced the install of a LT4 hot cam in my car(before i owned it). I am in the process of rebuilding th engine. I already have crane gold 1.6 non-sa roller rockers, Comp hardened pushroods and guideplates. What cam do you recomend?

My other mods will be mostly bolt on's no head work or anything. maybe a small bump in compression.
I like a little lope but don't want something that is gonna cut off and not idle all the time. The car is a A4. I have head a lot about the cc305 and 306 would one of those work well?

thanks
Shawn

The Hotcam is a good setup and very cost efficient. Although it is a small cam compared to many out there it is still very popular. I would check out www.cmotorsports.com I got my 224/230 XE cam there and I love it. If you're going to leave the heads stock then I would recomend the 224/230 or the cc305. I know that the 224/230 lopes pretty good from experience, but I have heard sound clips of the 305 and don't like the sound of it. Definitly go to that site and give them a call. They are very helpful people.

If you would like something different, maybe the crower cam, 00562 part #, it has almost the exact same specs as the XE cam, 221/230 114LSA, but the adv. #s are lower and you get more lift meaning a little more power all in all. {url=http://www.crower.com/pdf/35.pdf]Heres[/url] the link to the cam. I would like to try a crower cam for my next cam, I have heard they make good stuff.
