PLEASE! need help with my beast (in the making)

So i just bought a rebuilt motor with 10000 and the parts that he didnt get to were the roller rockers, lifters, pushrods, valve springs and cam. Now i would love to get everybodys feedback on these parts. I really want to go with comp cams 503 cam. Please fill me in on your opinions on these parts. thanks

CC503 is a good cam but I prefer the Lunati "Voodoo" 60121 which offers a bit more "area under the curve" and more optimized valve events.

•Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 270/278
•Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 221/229
•Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .515/.530
•LSA/ICL: 112/106
•Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd
•RPM Range: 1800-5800

Is that 10,000 or 1000? Because that's a lot of coin for just a shortblock with no heads or cam. Was it rebuilt to a 355 or 383?

It just a stock rebuild (350). And can you go into more detail about the lunati voodoo. Any info on the other parts?

If you go to Lunati and Comp's sites you can see the specs. You don't need anything special in the way of pushrods - just be sure you get hardened pushrods if you decide to use guidepltes (not necessary if you get "self-aligning" rockers). Stock length will likely be ok, though in theory you should measure in this case you probably won't have to. Either cam will work better with 1.6:1 rockers, just be sure your valve springs can accomodate the lift. A beehive spring works well with most hydraulic roller cams. Look at the cam manufacturers recommendation for springs, but regard it as a starting point, never use LESS spring than they call for. I am a fan of aluminum rockers, don't believe the outmoded idea that they are not suitable for a street motor, they are fine.
